Water dragon

At first I thought this was a huge water dragon climbing up out of the creek. I froze in my tracks and started creeping towards it, slowly at first, then a little more quickly when I realised that it wasn’t actually alive. Or ever had been. By the time I got up close I realised that it was in fact a dirty great lump of carpet underlay. What an idiot. You wouldn’t want to go telling people about that, would you.
