Trees are lovely

They’re lovely everywhere, but Alice Springs trees are particularly lovely.

River red gums – gnarled and mottled.

They’re the old men of the riverbed.

I know that “tree huggers” get a hard time but there really is something quite magical about a big old river gum.

I am so jealous Mark, I really want to see those Ghost Gums against the red dust sometime. Trees are my work and passion, when I travel I take more photos of trees than family! Enjoy and share more please.
